UK Spouse Visa Enquiry

Post by markandaya » Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:54 pm

Hello,

Me and my wife are applying for a UK Spouse visa so she can live here in the UK with me. I have been in permanent salaried employment for over 6 months and therefore meet the financial requirement (Category A). Can I just rely on my income alone (providing bank statements and payslips etc) or should we use cash savings too from my UK accounts and my wife's Japanese accounts?

The Appendix form seemed to suggest that if income alone is enough then that should be sufficient but im not totally sure?

Any help or advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Mark and Aya

Yes using your income alone will be more wiser to keep the case more straight with less paperwork. For this purpose you will have to supply the previous 6 months of payslips with corresponding bank statements and recent employer letter. Your latest payslip and bank statement shouldnt be older than 28 days before the date of application.
