Applicant travelled outside UK during Visa curtailment period

Post by praveen_bel72 » Wed Oct 30, 2019 7:06 pm

Hi guys,

I have recently resigned (11th Oct) from my current
employer, My last employer has cancelled my Visa on 25th October.

I have already completed interview formalities with another employer (18th October) in the UK and awaiting results, the new employer is willing to provide sponsorship.

I haven't received a Visa curtailment letter yet.

Can I travel to India until I hear from the new employer and can i apply for a new T2 Visa from India after the employer has obtained COS ?

I have been thinking of this everyday and searched everywhere in the internet and have had no luck

Request if anyone can kindly help me on the above query please.

Kind Regards,

Praveen

You should not travel out of the UK as curtailment is almost instant once ho is aware you have left.

No as you would be subject to the 12 month cooling off period if applying outside the UK.
