CoS Expires before UK Tier 2 General Visa

Hi

I am on a Tier 2 General Visa, my CoS will expire on 4th Dec 2019 and my visa is valid till 18th Dec 2019. Can you please answer my queries

1. Till what date I can work, is it my CoS or Visa expiry date

2. When should I need to go for the visa extension before CoS or Visa expiry

3. I am planning to change the sponsor, my new organization has put the advertisement on 11th Nov 2019, it requires a month time to get new CoS and process my Visa(i.e. after 11th Dec 2019) but mean while my current CoS will expire on 4th Dec. Is it possible to get a new CoS from my current sponsor to cover the period till my Visa validity(18 Dec 2019). So that after a month time my new sponsor will get the new CoS and process visa extension.

Thanks for your response, this was very helpful. I need some clarity on the 3rd answer.

Is that you mean even though the CoS expires on 4th Dec, I can still wait till my Visa validity(18-Dec-2019) for my new sponsor to apply a new CoS and Visa. Is it fine if my new sponsor apply the cos and visa after 11-Dec-2019 that's when the ad period ends.

It is only your VISA EXPIRY date that is relevant and NOT the CoS.
