BRP in maiden name. Passport in married name

Hi guys.

My wife recently updated her USA passport to married name and then submitted application for ILR which after 4 months we have now received. However they have still issued BRP in maiden name despite new passport name and a cover letter requesting it be changed. We now have a holiday coming and I'm concerned about border control having a problem with this on the way home? Will there be a problem or can we simply provid a marriage certificate and her cancelled USA passport in maiden name too?

Ideally that mistake should be fixed asap after receiving the BRP otherwise you have to update your new married name within 3 months for which a separate application will have to make. Regarding travel you might not have issue on showing the marriage certificate.
