1) Get the details
2) You fill them in yourself.
3) Pay and submit
4) Paste a photo on the referee form. Referee dates and sign.
5) Scan & Upload

Hello CULLINAN,
Thank you for the reply , you are always wonderful ,
it seems people get a bit confused about being a referee, someone I know I approached has asked me to bring the paper work with the passport photo so he can endorse and sign them , it is hard to convince them they should give their details and information first in order to fill in the online application before the paper work can be printed out and brought to them for endorsement and signature.

Referees should be trustworthy and willing to act as your referee. Sometimes HO can also contact them so you need someone who can act quickly on your behalf.

I would ask a good friend or some professional who I know well, not someone, who I have to convince too much.

You can simply try to explain them the procedure has changed now. Also, find someone trustworthy who you do not need to convince hard.

Such a bizarre question.. find a person who can. H The professional referee may not be a Brit passport holder.

Ur missing the point.
It’s obligatory for one of the referees to hold a British passport. And both must know the applicant for 3 years or more.
This is between you and the network surrounding you.

Hello CR001,
i did not realise you had replied to my last post ,
Thank you so much for your help.
so, theoretically I can upload and remove any attachment till the day of the Biometric Enrolment!
Do your dependants need to apply at the same time as you. My dependants are eligible but struggling to get a second referee since our dentist is off work , so it might take a few days to get a referee for them,

Thanks

No they do not have to apply with you. For citizenship, each person must meet the requirements individually.

If you all qualify, why did you not add them to your application in a family application?
