Hello everyone

My husband arrived in the UK in November 2014, he got his BRP in August 2017 which will expire in February 2020 (5 year route).
The next step is to apply for ILR but unsure which set. I'm a British citizen.
Are there any other tests to take apart from the life in the UK test?

There are many different visas that are the '5 year route'. What visa category specifically does he hold? Are you British born and he has a spouse settlement visa, extension granted on form FLR(M)??

Did he enter initially on a spouse visa or a 6 month fiance visa?

Sorry I should have said...he entered on a spouse Visa in 2014 and the extension was granted on FLR(M) in 2017. I am settled in the UK, not British-born

English B1 from an HO approved test provided and LIUK.

You need to meet all the same financial requirements and you need to submit 2 years evidence in both your names to prove cohabitation.
