Need clarification on ILR application for wife and kid

Post by vaibhz » Fri Dec 20, 2019 1:33 pm

Hello Experts,

I came to UK on Tier 1 (General) and got my ILR in Oct 2016. My wife and kid got their extension for Tier 1 (General) as PBS dependants in April, 2017 and are now eligible for ILR. While going through the form I had several confusions and thought of getting clarified here:
  • Which for form should I use for submitting Set (O) or Set (M)? As the last extension they got for PBS dependants was after me getting ILR. The documentation on site is confusing.
  • As my wife is a home make and my kid is a minor, who will be the main applicant?
  • How do I show sufficient funds under my account?
Please could you help me clear my confusion? Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Vaibhav

SET O as she holds a PBS Dependent visa and not a spouse settlement visa under Appendix FM.

Your wife!!
How do I show sufficient funds under my account?
There is NO maintenance requirement for ILR.

Passports, BRPs, English B1 and LIUK for wife, marriage cert, birth cert for child, 2 years evidence of cohabitation in both your names, your ILR BRP.

Is your child UK born or born abroad??

Sorry I though as my kid wasn't born in the UK, I will have to furnish more documents. If that's not the case, I am happy to close the thread.

Thanks,
Vaibhav

Oh OK. The only way to submit documents is to upload the scanned copies then? Is this true for bank statements as well?

Thanks for all your help till date.
