Return to same job in UK in tier 2 general visa

Hi,

I had resign from my job in the UK and came back to India on December 2019. I was there on tier 2 general visa that was valid till 2021. Now after 4-5 months I am considering to rejoin the same firm on same job.

My employer has checked the visa status it says "sponsor has stopped sponsoring migrant worker".

Can you please let me know if there is any possibility that an employer could get an existing VISA reactivated in this kind of situation?

If not then can I apply for new tier 2 general visa now or there is any cooling off period?

No.

12 months cooling off applies unless you meet any of the limited exceptions.

would you please be able to help me understand what are the conditions under which the cooling off period is not applied and Tier-2 general VISA could be issued within 12 months?
