How long will it take to receive curtailment letter from the day of redundancy?

Based on what I have found in most places online 60 days is the time you have to find new tier 2 sponsor but it seems like this number can vary(not because you have less than 60 days remained on your visa) and some people received it in 30 days?

Now there is some hope for someone who lost his/her job to find another sponsor in 60 days but 30 days seems even more difficult?

Am I missing something? Can some give me more info on this?

A curtailment of you visa is always to days. There is no 40 day curtailment letter.

The 60 days starts from the date you get the letter and NOT the last date of employment!! Letters can take a while to get sent out.
