***UK Entry Stamps***

Post by Martincala » Wed Jul 29, 2020 5:20 pm

Dear all,

I have a question, why UK border officers do the entry stamps on different pages while there are many blank pages on my refugee travel document? One of my entry stamp is on page number 7, does that mean anything? (I had an argue with the UK border officer).

Your response would be highly appreciated,

MC.

I don't think it's a specifically UK phenomenon - I had a US Visitor stamp on page 15 of some 20 pages - the only stamp in that passport. Probably just convenience for the officers, not so much for us who have to scan or copy pages.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Most often the border/airport immigration officer is more inclined to stamp nearby other stamps because despite it is bit peripheral but they still galance through the all stamps. Aside that few times in hast they might stamp on any page.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
