Hello everyone can someone help me for my financial requirement for my ILR. I will apply ILR Set(M) in few weeks. I arrived in Uk Aug 2015. I am the applicant. My two previous visa application of spouse and FLR visa was under Section 7B - maintenance as my husband (Sponsor) receive DLA so I was exempt to meet financial requirement as long we meet adequate maintenance for couples with no child. My FLR visa (2018) application was combine source of income my husband (sponsor) DLA - disability living allowance and my work income.
Today my husband receive letter that his DLA has been stop. I cannot used section 7B as his DLA been stop. We appeal for his benefits but don't know how long it will take and I'm due to apply my ILR (setm) 5 years. I am so worried now. I work full-time as a carer, I looked after people living with dementia for 4 years in same employer. I compute my gross income for the last 6mo. its more than £18,600 applying with no child dependent. My husband (sponsor) is a writer and publisher but he only earn very small amount of money and last months he earn nothing (Zero) and only relied on benefits as he is disabled and his one leg been amputated and now has no income started this month and his benefits as been stop.
My question :
1. Can I use my own income as applicant to meet the financial requirement of £18,600 for ILR.
2. Which Category I belong A or B?
I had my employment contract, 6mo payslip and 6mo bankstatement is this enough to show I earn enough to meet financial requirement.
Thank you so much
Sue

1. Yes
2. Category A assuming you have been working for your employer from at least 6 months. If so then 6 months of payslips with corresponding bank statements along with recently dated employer letter will be required.

Hi seagul. One more question - Being Non -salaried Category A - should I filled up this question as well as there is no option about Non Salaried employment?
8.3A Income from salaried employment
Only complete this section if you and/or your sponsor are working.

Similar flaw was engulfed over the old styled Appendix II form where a distinctive none-salaried person option was permanently lacking. For none-salaried person, usually an annualised average income is considered as his/her annual income by following the below formula:
Total income earned during the last 6 months / 6×12= Annual income
Resultant figure can be given there.
