IDV App - Visa renewal

I originally received an email to complete the visa application without attending an appointment and instead wait for IDV App, but I opted out because I wanted to travel soon, so I thought it will be faster, and the office in my city was planned to open soon as well, however, as waiting for the office in my city to open, opening kept postponed several times, and it becomes more difficult now to travel soon as originally planned.

My question are;
1- can I go back to use the IDV app? and cancel the opportunity to make an appointment? And how?

2- what is the time expectation to complete the visa application without an appointment?

3- what will be the cost if I go back to the original process of no appointment and use the IDV app?

4- if I've to go to the appointment, can one person (the application is for me and my wife, me as a lead applicant), travel to the appointment?

1. No.

2. It varies.

3. Potentially withdrawing your current application and applying again. You would then need a new CoS.

4. All applicants need to attend biometric appointment and enroll biometrics.

No. Only submit the supporting documents that are required.
