Email from HO that the IELTS certificate i have provided to meet the English requirements is expired because it is over 2 years old.
My history.
Got tier 2 general visa in 2014, company sponsored.
That time i did IELTS.
got ILR IN SEPTEMBER 2019.
my understanding was, that if Ielts has been accepted
For previous leave to remain, it could be still used even
It is expired.
So now i have 2 options,
Either retake English test to B1 level or
Luckily i have UUKNARIC letter confirming my overseas degree equivalent to c1 and was taught in English.
I need to reply by 6th November 2020. So
Please help
I am not sure how NARIC really works. However, I personally do not like to take any risks when it comes to English Requirements. You will have to do your own research on NARIC or take a B1 SELT. Make sure you fulfil the requirements before the deadline. Your husband is lucky that CW has given time to fulfil the requirements without refusing the application.Redrose213 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 7:02 pmYes that's true, this question is for my husband not myself, my application is in progress as you mentioned
UpdateNaturalisation applications
A person who successfully made an application for indefinite leave to remain on the basis of a B1 level qualification can meet the English language requirement for naturalisation without needing to pass another qualification. This is regardless of whether the original qualification is on the current SELT list.
