Error on MN1 form

I have printed off my MN1 and collected all documents to.courier for my one child. The application was submitted online. I have just noticed that I have typed her birth year incorrectly. Would it suffice to explain in the covering letter or do I need to redo the application. If I need to redo can I use the gbp1012 paid already for this new application. Thank you for advising.

Add a covering letter.

Are you applying from abroad or within the UK? Unsure why you are sending documents by courier if in the UK.
