I deeply commiserate over your predicament but a gp letter alone would certainly be insufficient. If you are a daily newspaper reader then must have been noticing that in UK the hospital admissions have ceaselessly been surging where even the patients have to wait for the treatment even for securing a bed for several days due to the resurrection of virus. On the other hand, if you compare it with Singapore where as per few reliable websites & third party links, there is a world class medical treatment available and also been renowned for its better life expectancy rate.
