Traveling outside of UK when ILR application is in progress

Hello,

I am requesting some guidance about traveling outside of UK due to emergency reason. I am currently holding Tier2 General visa Valid till 2024 Dec. however i have submitted an ILR application through Long residence route. I am told that i can not travel outside of UK when application is in progress. Is this applicable in my case as i still have a valid visa to return. PLease help

If you leave the UK while your application is pending, it will be considered withdrawn and you lose the ILR fee paid. It applies to everyone with a pending application.

You were already advised that you did not qualify for long residence ilr due to excessive absence of more than 180 days, which broke your continuous residence. Why did you submit the application?
