PBS dependent visa extension where main applicant is on ILR

I used to be on a tier 2 general.
Wife got pbs dependent visa for 3 years
Now i have citizenship and want to move abroad for work. Can i continue extending my wife's pbs dependent visa while we are both leaving together abroad?
I know the rule of 180 days for ILR eligibility . But is there a limit on how long she can stay on a pbs dependent and stay out of uk with me?

So what happens when her current pbs dependent expires in 2022 and we are working abroad at that time? Can i apply for an extension?

Extensions are applied for only within the UK.

If you apply for a visa from outside the UK, she can't apply for a pbs dependent visa if you are British.

Note also that if her visa was granted after 1w January 2018, she is subject to the 180 days per 12 months absence limit, which means if she leaves the UK, her ilr clock stops.

Her visa is also dependent on both of you living in the UK and having evidence of it.

My daughter and i have british passport.

Whats my best immigration option for my wife while living abroad and wanting to return to uk?

The more difficult spouse settlement visa, meeting English and financial requirements with UK income.

Any other route i can take as our daughter is british citizen and ideally we would not want to wait for 1 year to get the spouse visa approved if decided to comeback?

Will the the fact that my wife was on pbs dependent and had been in the uk in the past help in the more difficult spouse visa is terms of its processing times?
