What happens to your old foreign passport?

What happens to your old passport when you get your British passport?

I had a Pakistani passport which I sent to the hmpo, and I have recieved my British passport but just wanted to know will they send my old passport back?

You get it back. Hmpo have no authority to keep it and no reason.

How long did it take to get your British Passport after the ceremony?
