Travelling with two passports

Post by nick123999 » Mon Apr 04, 2022 11:53 am

Hi

My wife is a dual national and we are looking to book a trip to Thailand for three months. I am British so will be getting a Visa for the trip. She is a dual national of both countries so will not need a visa to enter Thailand.

I cant seem to get my head around which passport number we need to put down when booking the flight. She will obviously need to 'swap' them at the border but Stupid only give the option to provide one passport when buying tickets and we don't want to have issues when checking in.

I'm sure there are many dual nationals on here - what do you do in this situation?

Nick

Put her Thai passport details to avoid the scrutiny of having to answer questions about a visa if you put her British passport.

For departure back to the UK, simply present the British passport as proof of right to enter the UK.
