Your absences count back from the application date, say you apply on 1/9/2022, it's your absences since 1/9/2019, i.e. three years (not calendar years.
If the ticket was cancelled it was cancelled, doesn't exist.I had a fine charge cancelled (driving on the residential street restrictions) I didn't mention it during my ILR application do I need to mention it now ???
Well, you'll have to wait and see. You may be offered a speed awareness course which wouldn't have to be declared.Incase I got the fine for the speed camera would it affect my application?
Yes.Can I travel outside the UK when the application is pending?
We've all been there ... please post further queries in this thread which has been moved to the British Citizenship forum.I am extremely anxious about this and I would sincerely appreciate your help.
Most people here don't use solicitors - the application is relatively straightforward albeit an expensive one (after all the preceding immigration applications). Best to stay organised, don't rush, get everything as correct as you can. That's half the battle won.
As a UK ILR holder all you need for residency is the stamped passport(s) covering the 3 years period. If you have no stamps in your passport Council Tax bills (with your name on) will be sufficient.
No they do not. The referee must have known you for at least 3 years though.
Unemployed yes - I don't think asylum seeker can be a referee, essentially they don't have status in the UK until approved (unless I'm wrong).
OP already has a professional referee.contorted_svy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 2:00 pmOne of the referees must be British and over 25, the other one needs to be a professional but no need to be British, read page 17 here https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... Guide_.pdf
You nee ONE referee who is British and 25 years or older.
Why not ask your colleagues at work? That's where the infusion into the British society comes in. It might even be a neighbour you're close to.
Lilly1 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 12:36 pmThankfully I found 2 referees. Does the referee form need to be signed before the application or after ???? 1 of them is going on a holiday so she signed it before I submitted my application. I would say better to sign before the application date.
Also, if I used the IDV app for my ILR application do you think I will use it again or there is a change of attending a biometric appointment? almost impossible to predict, everyone is having different experiences with being called for a biometric appointment!
Thank you
