According to the govern website (https://www.gov.uk/apply-citizenship-sp ... %20citizen.), it said
"You must send your biometric residence permit (BRP) back to the Home Office within 5 working days of getting your certificate of British citizenship.
Cut your BRP into 4 pieces and put it in a windowless envelope.
Include a note saying you’re returning your permit because you’ve become a citizen. Include your name, date of birth and the document number (found on the front of the card) in the note.
Naturalisation BRP Returns
PO Box 195
Bristol
BS20 1BT"
But in my approval of british citizenship email, it said
"Once you have received your certificate of British citizenship any Biometric Residence Permit (BRP card) you have will no longer be valid and cannot be used as evidence of your status. If you have a BRP card you should return it for secure destruction. You may have to pay a penalty of up to £1,000 if you fail to return an invalid BRP.
Your BRP card should be cut in half and posted (in a windowless plain envelope) to Biometric Product Returns, IFB, 5th floor Lunar House, 40 Wellesley Road, Croydon, CR9 2BY. The postage is not refundable."
Which address is the right address to cut and return my ILR BRP card? Or both would be okay? Thank you.
