ILR Guidance

Post by AI3 » Fri Feb 17, 2023 10:19 am

I wanted to clarify everything before applying.

Currently, Tier 2 PBS Dependant Visa 5years Route

Wife already a citizen 3 years ago.

Which form needed to use for ILR application SET O or SET M?

Thank you

If your spouse got ILR based on 5 years Tier 2, then you can only apply for ILR on form SET(O). The form you use is base on the VISA category you hold and not the status of your spouse.

SET(M) is for a completely different visa category.

Hi,

Thank you for quick response. Yes, she had Tier 2 General Skilled Worker 5yrs Route before applying her ILR before.

@CR001

Another clarrification, I am planning to apply my ILR this End of april or Early May 2023. It is safe to go to travel for holiday before this application?

You can go for holiday and return safely so far you still have valid leave to be in UK.
