Settlement Visa for wife

Hello I’m new to the forum and sorry if this has been mentioned before tried looking but maybe easier to make a post

I want to get my wife over to the uk permanently I believe it’s for 2 years 9 months to start with so that the visa I’m going for

My situation is that I’m self employed just started as self employed as I was employed for 20 years on books had some time off work now going self employed

The question I want to ask is
I’m working for a umbrella company so my company I work for pays the umbrella company they take my tax and national insurance out then provide me with a wage slip
with there name on it
Is the umbrella company my employee?

Would the umbrella company have to provide the employment letter stating my job role salary etc or the company that provides me work ?

As long as I have a minimum of 6 months wage slips bank statements and the minimum of £18600 I could then apply ?

Your wife can only get ILR if she had family visa for 60 months under the 5-year route. Does that apply to her ?
And yes, the umbrella company will be your employer and you need all those documents from them if you are applying under category A

Sorry it’s a spouse visa so she can come on that for 2 years 9 month then after that u apply again for another 2 years making it a total of 5 years then after I can get the final settlement for her

So I will be applying for the spouse visa so all the same with documentation I mentioned

Also do they take a your minimum wage and subtract it from your highest to average your pay or as long as your over the £18600 on your wage slips when u apply is that not needed

I was worried if I went on holiday I would not have a income for few weeks and they would take that as my minimum payment from my highest

So I will be applying for the spouse visa so all the same with documentation I mentioned

They basically take your lowest pay of that month I get paid weekly so would it be the lowest for a week ?

So say I went away for 2-3 weeks within that 6 month period and 3 weeks of wage slip said £0 because I was not earning or getting paid holiday pay would they use that £0 as the lowest week/month

Would it be best to work straight though without taking holiday ?

Im only asking questions as feel they will get answered easier as I new too this forum and don’t know where to look to find the information for what I need I apologise.

I full under category A non salaried as my wage is different each week and I’m paid for the job role I carry out

So I need to be employed for minimum of 6 months so then I only need 6 months of wage slips but as paid weekly it will be 24 weeks of wage slips

They don’t go by the lowest wage slip as it’s non salaried

But instead add up each week wages then % 6 x 12 and that gives my annual salary

I can have some weeks where I earn nothing ( holiday )as long as my annual salary is above the £18600 as I’m on non salaried

Just checking this is correct

This site has already been very helpful by reading many posts.

I have come across a issue now i work for agency/umbrella company they supply my wage slips so have there name on them and also my bank statements but I work for my client and the umbrella company are saying they can’t issue me a employment letter as I’m not employed by them as my work comes from someone else

But the employment letter has to come from who’s supplying my wage slips right ?

Correct. Your employer is the person who pays you and pays your tax to HMRC etc.
