ILR Eligibility for Children

Hi,

Need to understand the eligibility for children( Getting mixed information everytime I speak with any one, so it is leading intomore confusion than clearing:) ) .

Here is our scenario, can any one suggest when to apply for ILR for children.

1. Myself and spouse came to UK in Jan 2019 on Skilled worker Visa, and applied for ILR recently that is successfully recieved.
2. Kids( both are now 12 and 9) came to UK Sep 2021 , i.e they have spent only 2.4 years in the UK. And their Visa is to extended in sept 2024.

My Queries are.

1. Does they eligible for ILR to apply now or do they need to spend 5 years before applying.
2. If 1 is no, below are other equestions.
a. Should we apply for ILR dependents in Sept 2024 ?
b. Should we extend the skilled worker visa ( I highy doubt this is possible, but just checking)
c. Should we avoid IHS charges if we are applying for ILR dpeendents in sept 2024?
d. If we have to pay for IHS, should it be advisable to apply now for ILR dependendts considering the
IHS price increases.

Sorry for the long listing questions, but it would be greatly appreaciated if I get these clarifications

You could have included them in your and your partners ILR application. Not sure why you did not do this. There is NO minimum residency for children, they settle when their parents settle.

Not necessary.

Not sure what you mean by 'ILR dependents', there is no such immigration category.

That is what the confusion was all about. Many ppl told that they are not eligible , they need to spend 5 yrs before they apply for ILR. So are we sure we can apply for both kids, right ?

Not sure what you mean by 'ILR dependents', there is no such immigration category.
Not sure, it was all my assumptions and some info from friends.

So we are sure to apply for their ILR now, right?

Also, can you please suggest what are the documents required for children? since we are going to apply for them seperately now?
