Sponsorship of Student to Skilled Worker

Dear Team

We are sponsoring a student as a skilled worker from Tier 4 student visa (on an extension for 2 years).

The employee is currently below 26 years old. So should the minimum salary be 70% of the going rate? The going rate is 23,800 and we am paying close to this with an increase coming soon.

Under graduate visa you can pay any amount as long as it meets the minimum living wage requirements. Once you move to skilled worker visa the rate for the job and minimum threshold for SWV come into play.
