Local council not received certificate yet

I received my approval email last Monday (19th), on the email it said it takes a working day for the council go receive my certificate. I called on Friday and they still haven't received it. Has anyone had a similar experience? (Are there any approximate times?)

Who should I contact if the council hasn't received it within let's say another week?

This is answered multiple times a week.

It takes time for the certificates to reach the council and for them to process for ceremonies etc. UKVI send certificates out in batches, likely only once a week.

Wait a week or two.

It says to wait one working day for you to contact the council, not that it takes one working day for the certificate to get there. My council received my certificate 11 days before I got the email from HO Atlas. Give it another week and then contact the council again. You have 90 days to attend the ceremony so there is some time to sort it.

I'm in the same situation. approval email came on 26/02/2024. still no response from the council. I have requested the appointment online. not sure how long will it take to receive the cert from HO.

For me the certificate was received by the council 11 days before I received the email. Try to chase up with the council and the HO as it's been a couple weeks for you.

I called the council when I got the invite.
I asked them and they said they wait for the applicants to contact them. E.g. they don't notify the applicants (Gloucestershire).

You need to ask HO why the certificate hasn't been received yet. In the link I posted above there are some actions you can try to chase.

Can’t get hold of the council citizenship department. Send an email from HO & Council last week no response yet. Not sure naturalisation cert was received by the council or not.

You need to chase both the council and HO.

You can get to the council I'm pwrson as last resort to try get hold of a number to call.
