ILR Set (M) spouse route - few questions

Post by Prilim » Wed May 29, 2024 7:47 am

:) Hello everyone,
I will be applying for my ILR Set(M) this June through Super priority service. Just have few questions before I start the process?
1) How do I opt for super priority service? Will the options be provided to me whlist I complete the application or do I have to opt for it after I submit my application?
2) I am going to submit my employer's letter, my payslips and my bank statements to satisfy the financial requirement. How many months does the payslip and bank statements have to cover? My understanding is it needs to cover 6 months, ie from Dec/Jan till May/June. However, someone said three months should be fine. So I wanted to double check just to be on the safe side. Also, will the new financial requirement threshold be applicable to me? I arrived here via spouse visa in June 2019.
3) My husband and I live in a rented house. Do I have to submit letter from our landlord?
4) I believe there are three declaration forms which my spouse and I have to sign. Will it provided to us after I submit my application. Just wondering if I could find the declaration form beforehand, so we could sign it right away ( whilst following the 28 days rule).
Your input and expertise would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

1. It is a visa processing service you pay for alongside your application fee, before submitting it online
The option will be provided if slots are available. See: Online Application - Why there is no Super Priority Service Option ?

Note that priority service determines the SPEED of your visa application processing, AFTER you submit your biometrics. It has nothing to do with your biometric appointment or whatever

2. Have you been with your current employer for at least 6 months ?
If yes, then you are applying under category A and you need the payslips over the most recent 6 months
Guide: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... rement.pdf

3. You can get a letter for proof of adequate accommodation. You also may submit the tenancy agreement as cohabitation evidence.
See: All you need to know about cohabitation evidence

4. You get a consent form with 3 parts, part 1 is signed by the applicant, part 2 by their spouse and Part 3 is ignored as there is no third-party sponsor. Here it is: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... onsent.pdf

There is no 28days rule, it is a concession.
If any other questions, do ask in this topic of yours.

ILR ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND SUPER PRIORITY SERVICE

Post by Prilim » Thu Jun 13, 2024 9:57 am

Hi there,
Hope you are all well.
I am currently in the process of submitting my ILR application and whilst completing the online form, I am bit stuck on the following question-"Do you have a previous visa, entry clearance or leave to remain where you had to prove your knowledge of English?". The options given are "Yes" or "No". In my previous Entry and Leave to Remain visa, I submitted my UKNARIC/ECCTIS visa and nationality certificate as proof of my knowledge of English. I also have a pg diploma qualification from a UK University, however it was 8 years ago. So my question is, which option do I have to select?

Hi there,

Thank you for your detailed response.
Please, could you confirm what the financial threshold is for someone who is already on Leave to Remain FLR (M) visa? I entered the UK under a spouse visa in June 2019.

You did not say what is your employment status when I asked above. I already provided the guide above to go through.

Yes as you did this with NARIC/ECCTIS.
Hi all,
I have clicked on YES but it took me to the IELTS English language exam route. I haven't given any English language exam, however my degree was taught in English which is validated by ECCTIS/NARIC and confirmed the language skill is equivalent to C1 level proficiency. Upon clicking on NO it has taken me to a different set of questions> Here are the answers I have given, please could you advise if I have entered the accurate answers:

Do you have an English language or literature qualification from a UK school?
This must be from a school you attended when you were under 18.

This must be a GCSE, an International GCSE, an A level, a National 4 or 5, a Higher, or an Advanced Higher qualification.

You will need to provide your exam certificate.

No

Do you have a degree that was taught in English?YES
Country your degree was taught in? India
DDoes your degree meet the English language requirement for this visa?Yes
The only two options given are either Degree certificate or Transcript/ Letter. Do I opt for former or the latter.
