APPLYING FOR FIANCE VISA FOR MY PARTNER IN INDIA

Post by sareeb96 » Fri Sep 06, 2024 3:11 pm

Hi everyone,

I hope you're doing well!

I’m currently in the UK on a Graduate Visa and have a well-paying job. I would like to bring my partner, who is currently in India, to the UK on a fiancé visa. I’m seeking guidance on the entire process and would greatly appreciate any advice or information you can offer.

Firstly, I need to understand what specific documents are required for the fiancé visa application. Are there any additional documents that could strengthen our application? In terms of financial requirements, I’m keen to know the minimum income threshold needed to prove my income and financial stability.

I would also like to get a clear picture of the key steps involved in applying for the fiancé visa and the typical duration of the application process. Additionally, if you have any tips or personal experiences, I would love to hear about common pitfalls or mistakes to avoid, as well as any other advice that could help us navigate this process smoothly.

Any additional resources or insights you could provide would be incredibly helpful. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

You do not qualify to apply for a fiance visa as you are not British or do not have ILR. The fiance visa is specifically only for a fiance of a settled or British partner.

You also likely do not qualify to bring her as a graduate route dependent if she was not in the uk as a dependent on your student visa.
