I have my visa expiring in few days but I just found out that my university has not reported my completion status to the home office because they didn't know if I have a student visa or not. I sent them the documents they need
How long does it take to report to them and can I apply before that's done on my old CAS?
I'm still in the UK and it expires on the 17th.
This is what they said -
"I have my visa expiring in few days but I just found out that my university has not reported my completion status to the home office because they didn't know if I have a student visa or not. This is what my Uni sent me when I asked them for my updated CAS - "We haven't yet reported your successful completion of your course to the UK Government so you can apply for a Graduate Visa.
This is because we do not have evidence that you are in the UK with a valid Tier 4 or Student visa.
So we can update our records and to see if we can make a report the the Home Office, please upload colour copies of the following documents to this enquiry:
Both sides of your BRP card
Please re-open this enquiry in order to respond and provide documents.
Many thanks"
EDIT: I have received my confirmation from the Uni about me successfully completing the course as well as received my degree, they just have not informed the home office and I can't figure out why
