Query about ILR application

Post by Drsadiatariq » Sun Feb 23, 2025 3:25 pm

Good afternoon
Exceptional timelines hence confusing!

I am on Tier 2 visa
Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) issued on 11-03-2020
COS start date: 01-06-2020, End date: 31-05-2023
1st vignette issued on 20-05-2020 but I could not travel due to COVID-19 restrictions on travelling
Vignette extension date is 29-07-2020
Husband’s and sons’ PBS dependent visa granted on 12-08-2020
Myself and family arrived in the UK: 27-08-2020
My BRP start date: 04-08-2020
BRP start date for family: 21-08-2020
Current visa valid till 20-06-2025
My question:
The earliest date I can apply for ILR for myself AND for my family (please note that my visa grant date is different from family visa date)

1. Do NOT tag your questions onto other members topics.

2. YOU can apply for ILR within 28 days before your initial visa issue date in May 2020.

3. Your dependents can apply within 28 days before their initial visa issue date in August 2020.
