Additional applicant for Naturalisation

Post by 111muhammadabd » Tue Nov 05, 2024 7:32 pm

Hi,

I searched but cannot find answer to my question

I want to know if I add my spouse/dependent to my Naturalisation does she need to fill seperate AN form for her Naturalisation?..if yes, what is the benefit of adding applicants then?? Is it worth adding her to my application and myself to her application??

Thanks

No benefit or drawback from either approach. You can apply on the same form or fill a separate online form.

Thanks for your prompt response

So are you saying my wife can be the additional applicant in my application and she doesn't need to fill a separate form?

Correct. If she satisfies all the requirements. Effectively it’s two separate applications as every applicant is assessed separately.

Yes.

The proof of residency is still the passport, it doesn't matter that some stamps are missing.

Hi

There are no stamps at all at arrival in UK. All stamps are for departure and arrival in other countries

That's not an issue.

The UK border officers now rarely put stamps on passports of residents in the country.

Hi,

Thanks for swift response, and apologies for dragging it.
Its just when I read other posts on similar topic, they are asking to send docs like SAR, P60, employment letter, wage slips, council tax bills, bank statements etc. Do I need to send these?

Thanks for confirming,

1. does that mean they need to see the first UK entry stamp?..as i entered uk in 2010 but renewed my passport in Birmingham in 2019. Do I need to send both passports?

2. My Mrs passport expires in may this year, does this make any difference?

3. For referee declaration forms, my both referee live too far in another city in South England and I live in north England. I was thinking of printing the form, attaching photos, and scanning and sending forms over email so they can download and sign it ? Is this ok as photos will be attached to forms anyway?

Thanks for the swift response.

When I download the documents checklist, its asking for below docs

Proof of identity for us both 2x
Degree cert for me and B1 Cert for Mrs
Proof of living for 5 years for us both 2x
Two referees for us both 2x

Now I understand all of it except proof of living, still thinking is passport enough for this requirement as well ? As we will be submitting full passport scanned copies for both. Will this suffice both identity and proof of living?
