workpermit extension

i am in workpermit visa. visa valid from 11/April/2006 to 11/April/2011

I entered into uk on 19/May/2006. after 38 days from valid visa start date.

So I think, i am not eligible for ILR (before 11/Apr/2011).


There is no more workpermit (wp extension) visa, so i need to apply for Tier 2 (General) visa to extend my stay.

all this time i work for same employer and would like to continue with them.

To apply for Tier2 visa my employer should have sponsor licence (currently they don't have it)
If my employer apply for this licence now, it will take 3 months time. (don't know about cost of this licence)
In this case, i can't apply for Tier 2 visa on/before april 11.


Is there any other way/visa ???? (to extend my stay for another 9 / 10 days)

OR can i apply for ILR before 38 days?? (on my last day (11/APR/2011))
