Visa for baby born in India (Parents have ILR)

Dear All,

Have anyone recently secured a settlement visa for a baby born in India? My wife and I are expecting a baby in few months. We both have ILR. I understand that I need to use the form VAF4A-settlement (http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/ ... 3073/vaf4a), book for an appointment in VFS 3 months in advance to the travel date and provide the standard documents such as bank statements, rental agreement, address proof and employer reference.

I would be glad if someone who went through this recently shared their experience.

I understand what you are referring to. But I only want the ILR for our baby. We would be applying for the visa in VFS, UK in Chennai. I am keen to know about the experience of applying for a settlement visa in India (VFS UK, Chennai).
