i have lodged my tier 1 extension in 2017 october and i was invited by UK VI for an interview in october 2018 in jan i have contacted UK VI regarding an update for my application and next day i have received a call from UK VI for an interview at my office
The two compliance officers came for an interview and interview lasted for round about 4 hrs they took everything from me my interview didn't went as smooth as it should be i would like to share my experience for interview
1- she saw my ID
2-then she took the agreement for my office
3- investment summary - i have given him accountant investment summary (breakdown)
3- how did u get the money (my unncle have gifted me the money for the money and will u return it back to him)
4- i said yes i will
5- then she said any contract for that
6- i showed her contract copy
7-she said how did u invest the money
8- i said i bought stock more then 100k she said any proof do u have i showed her my purchases form dhgate.com and alibaba and she said thats fine.
9-she said how much u have invested in marketing i gave her the figure (exact).
10-she said how much u have spent on furniture i told her an approx amount
11- then she asked me about IT equipment i have bought it old her about my mobile phone software repair and computers
12-she asked me my turn over break down
13-what products u have sold i said i cannot give one by one thing she said give me approx figure
14-she said to me give me the total purchases u did i checked the accounts and gave her the figure
15- she said show me ur website traffic i showed her my website traffic which have attracted more then 100k worth auidence
16-she saw admin panel of my website and i showed her the work done for clients
17- she asked about the price structure
18-she asked about marketing research i told her about marketing research and i gave her the Chart for marketing research
19-she said how much u have invested in rent i gave her figures and then she asked about rent figures for the two years
20- was your business in profit
21- yes i gave her exact figure
23-she took pictures of my office
24- the name of office was visible at the entrance
25-she said who are u clients
26- i gave her names and gave her contract copies
27-she said u have invoice recent i put invoices in a folder where the errored invoices were present she took out the errored invoices and took picture i told her the invoices have error i will send u an email with correct ones i sent her new invoices via email , btw i gave her correct invoices as well during the interview took print out of that.
28- she asked about my employees
29- told her two persons work one is on a notice period
30 - the employee which was on notice his contract copy was not present ( i sent an email after 1 hr by contacting him cos copy was with him)
31- his Brp copy as well ( i sent later on)
32- the employee which was currently working his brp and all docs were present
33- i gave them rota copies
34- i showed them work done for employees and recent invoices paid by them in compnay account
35- how u hired ur worker i said i have posted on a local college
36- she said u have any e contracts i said i dont have atm
overall it was a 4 hrs interview i am epileptic i told them before interview and there attitude was very rude. To be honest i am not too hopeful with the interview did happened
