I m on tier 1 general. And my wife spent three years and 10 months with me as dependent .
but my wife went twice abroad and both time she spent 5 months each time so total 10 months .
my wife got dependent visa before july 2012.
is she illegible for ILR or not Thanks in advance

as long as they will have leave till your ilr application is being processed.
they must apply before their current leave expires.

did she ever renew her visa while she was abroad?
If she only renewed the visa with u in uk and always had a leave while she was abroad, then she will be eligible to apply for ilr with u, depending on, if you are applying for ilr based on 5 years of tier 1, and not 10 year LR stay

Thanks for your reply .she always had a visa while abroad.i am on tier 1 general 5 year route. The only concern is she spen 5 months twice abroad and someone told she cannot spent 5 months abroad Continously. one thing more is the 2 year rule still exist. Some says it no more available. My wife got first visa before in july 2012.

If her absence were for valid reasons she should be fine. You will need to show 2 years cohabitation documents counting backwards from date of application.

Pre July 2012 rules still stands - 2 years if she has had continuous residence with valid leave to remain.

yes

but if they are a pre-2012 dependant also applying for settlement, I advise they apply within 28 days of your ILR being granted (and of course expiry of any current leave)

There is no requirement for dependents to apply within 28 days once main app gets ILR.

Dependents need to apply when they qualify and before visa expires.

Yes I am on 5 year tier1 general. My dependent vis expire in march 2016.she is in uk since April 2012. My concern is if I apply in person and they keeps my case on hold.so what you I do then . Because I want to apply for my dependent with normal fee.

Is your application straightforward? If so, no reason for HO to hold it if you meet all the requirements. Your wife can apply at any point after you but before her visa expires once you get ILR.

my wife entered Uk as tier1 general dependent in April 2012. she went back twice out side uk and spent 5 moths each time ,
both time there was genuine reason which i have documents to support her .
but my question: is she eligible for Ilr to apply ?
july 2012 rules apply on her or not ?

A - No, there is no absolute minimum balance required. However it is advisable to show bank statements with some savings to demonstrate that you can support yourself (and dependants) if required.

Note 4 ..... The documents showing the finances available to you and to any person supporting you should cover at least the last three months.

i am on tier1 general can any body tell me what is the correct form for ILR ?
2. dependent of tier 1 general will use the same form which is for tier1 general main applicant ?
3. both main applicant and dependent will be applying on single form ? or will be using separate form ?

Family members (dependants)
Your partner and children under 18 can apply on the same form as you if they’re eligible.

I am on tier 1 general my ilr is due in a couple of months, my wife she is my dependent , need help regarding her English language test , what is the right test for her ? B1 or any other one , according to new rules .
second question :
in my entire tier 1 (5 year route) i spent 60 days abroad , Reason was my wedding , but i don't have any letter from my previous employer in this regard as the company in no more available / any suggestion please thanks

B1 English required for ILR.
Regarding abscences, include letter of explanation.

i am on tier1 one general my ilr is due in couple of months ,one of my friend just told me that B1 test is compulsory for every one , my question is ... i have done my master from uk so what is my status in this scenario ,
he says rules has been changed from this November 2015 .. please anyone with solid information reply me ..

If you have a UK degree, you will be fine as this will meet the English requirement. See link below
