FLR FP Extension - When to apply

Hi guys,

My wife was granted FLR FP partner in March 2019.

Her Visa expires mid October 2021.

I have just noticed she was granted 31 months for some reason instead of 30 months/2.5 years.

When am I suppose to apply?

No more than 28 days before 30 months which is mid september 2021 or no more than 28 days before 31 month Visa expiry which is mid october 2021.

Abit confused.

You can apply upto 28 days before completing 30 months or upto 28 days before the expiry date.

Any reason why they granted 31 months and not 30 months as it should be?

Visa valid from 15/3/2019 to 15/10/2021

Pretty sure that is 31 months not 30 months.
