There is NO 'minimum balance' requirement for ILR. As a main tier 2 general visa holder, you have to prove you meet the salary requirement for ILR or your SOC, whichever is higher. You simply need one months payslip and one months corresponding bank statement.

documentary evidence of cohabitation

Post by kollareddy » Fri Jun 05, 2020 1:12 pm

Hello

I would like to know what kind of documents I need to provide in order to prove that my spouse is cohabitating with me. I am guessing her bank statements as they are addressed to the same flat. In ILR online application it is writte as below:

If you have added a spouse or civil partner to this application form who is applying at the same time as you, please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (up to a maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the whole period and be in the form of official letters or documents, addressed to yourself and your spouse.

Please let me know what are all the documents I need to produce in order to prove co-habitation.

Thanks
Madhu

Appointment for ILR

Post by kollareddy » Sat Jul 04, 2020 10:14 am

Hello

Yesterday I applied for ILR. However I could not book an appointment as nothing is made available for new appointments. This is due to COVID-19. Do you have any idea when I will likely get appointment?

2nd question, is my VISA expires in November 2020, what if I cannot get an appointment before that.

3rd question, is it worth going for priority (need to apy 1500 pounds for three poepel) when I get my appointment. I think my application is straight forward, same job and address for last five years.

Please let me know.

Kind regards
Madhu

1. https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/flash-message- ... geId=74833

2. Highly unlikely you won't get anything before November. That aside, the date of application is the date you submit and pay online and not your biomteric appointment date.

3. Priority service is currently suspended. You get this option in the online form, if available, before you pay. If you didn't get the option, it is not available. You can't change to priority after you have submitted the online form. Priority service is a UKVI service and not a UKCVAS biomteric appointment service.

Appointment for ILR

Post by kollareddy » Sat Jul 04, 2020 12:14 pm

Hi

I cannot thank you enough for your prompt response.
I want to ask couple of things. My father expired on 28th April and I could not go due to lack of flights.
My mother is alone and would be a huge relief to stay with her some time.
Do you think it is a wise decision to go now? If I go now, do you think I can come back whenever it is necessary for biometric appointment. Also if I am visa expires before I get an appointment, do home office extend my VISA if I request. Please let me know at your convinience.

Best wishes
Madhu

If you leave the UK and your visa expires while you are away, you won't be able to return. Section 3C protection only remains in place while you are in the UK.

Dear Sir

Today I got an email from WandSContingencyCaseworkDocumentReturn@homeoffice.gov.uk asking to send documents in order to process my ILR. I assume this a fake and has potential security risks.
The end signature is as follows. Could you please confirm if this is genuine or fake?

Submitted biometrics through IDV app

Post by kollareddy » Sat Sep 05, 2020 10:01 am

Hi

I submitted my biometrics using IDV app today (5.9.2020).
My ILR application is straight forward, one job and one residence for five years.
I would like to know how long it takes to know the outcome of my application.
In other words when would I get my ILR BRP.
Please let me know if you have information.

Kind regards
Madhu

There is no one who can provide you a clear cut answer on your request, HO still got backlog occasioned by the COVID-19, and with the way things are turning now, who knows what direction things will go?
Be assured if you remain in the country you are covered under Section 3C and can still carry on as before and that is about it.

Hello

I submitted my biometrics using IDV app. Previously I requested you to let me know that how long it takes to the decision of my ILR. I am in distress as my father passed away in April and could not visit my mother all these days as I cannot left the UK when the ILR is under processing. DO you think I can asked them for a quicker decision. If so whom I do need to contact. Please let me know.

There is no one who can give you an exact on when to expect outcome.
You may approach HO with your circumstance to consider for expediting.
