Bcz I did not make monthly payments from April 2018 to march 2019 and ask them to take it from my overpayment Pot this statement shows no payment in mortgage statement.

Why would HO be interested in such info? Requirement to show Accommodation proof and how much we pay every month

I am preparing for the SET M and bit unsure about the English Requirement. During the last extension i have provide the Naric certificate ( bachelor degree) with C1 which is above the requirement and was accepted.
So
Can i use the same Naric Certificate for SET M application. Just want to get second opinion as most of the people here have done the B1 course to meet the requirement.

Also how do we answer the question below:
Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave appplication made on or after 28 October 2013?

This is my first time to apply for indefinite under SET M so not sure what shall i put here YES or NO?

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Yes, use both naric comparability and c1 level letters

Thanks very much . If I choose Yes then according to the question I have already applied and used an indefinite leave appplication made on or after 28 October 2013 which is not correct as it will be my 1st time applying ILR under SET(M) and contradict the with the question asked.

This question was lifted from the naturalisation application form and shld remove the indefinite word from it . I spoke to CW and told me that choose yes and add evidence. The rule of this game is evidence:what ever option you choose make sure your add ur evidence

What is CW ? So we either choose Yes Or No do not make a difference as question does not make sense with regards to our application. However we will be providing the evidence.

We are required to provide eveidence of monthly cost.

I have a mortgage with Nationwide bank but i have not received the yearly mortgage statement yet. I have spoken to them and they said you will be receving it by 31st of January which will be too late as we are applying next week. I have the yearly mortgage payment statements for year 2017 and 2018 but i guess they are more interested to see the recent one for 2019 which i have not received yet.

In that case can i use my Santander bank statements as i pay my monthly mortgage payments from this bank .
Will it be sufficient and acceptable?

Hope i have been able to present my situation and question well.

You don’t need the annual statement, just something that shows what contractual payments are due. Are you applying under a exemption to the standard financial requirements?

So if i understood right i only need to show the contractual mortgage agreetment which mention the duration of the mortgage and payment to be taken every month, no other document required.

No i am not applying under exemption to the the standard financial statement. Does it have any relevance to the question i asked above.

Indeed, housing costs are not relevant to the application per se. They are more relevant if exempt from the standard financial requirement.

Now i have bit sigh of relief as it was kind of burden my mind to show the mortgage payment statement so now i will scan and upload the contractual mortgage agreement .

Hi everyone,

We have our appointment tomorrow for SET M and we have uploaded all relevant documents online.
However we need advice on address proof. As part of 6 different evidence on joints name
We have provided water bills from 2017-18 , 2018-19 2109-20 .
The latest bill produced date is 29th February 2019 and it cover the bill period from april 2019 to March 2020 so
Does it cover the whole 2019 till date and meet 2.5 years period period and is accepted by home office? Just want be be on safe side before going tomorrow.

There is no such a requirement as address proof. It is cohabitation documents to show you two lived together in a subsisting marriage. You should be fine

Thnaks very much. Yes you are right its cohabitation documents under which we are showing 6 different documents eg diffrent bank statements ( 4) , council tax bill ( 1 ) and water bill (1) .

Is just that water bill is dated 26th February 2019 ( showing payments covering from april 2019 to March 2020)
As al, documents should be no older than 28 days if i understood correctly so that why i asked this question. Hope it make sense.

Soory i have followed the checklist on home office website in which it ask you to provide cohabitation documents covering last 2.5 years.
It says 6 Letters or other documents addressed to you and you partner at the same address to show that yoy have been living together for the past 2.5 years
Therefore we are providing those documents

Am i doing anything wrong here?

You need a selection of documents for every 3 or 4 months spanning the last 2 years. Not just one water bill, one council tax etc.

The not older than 28 days rule for documents does NOT apply to cohabitation evidence.

Thanks very much. We are showing every 3 to 4 months spanning the last 2.5 years . Regarding the council bill we have 1 document for each year since its only produced once a year showing all payments detail for each month till next year and same goes for water bill which is also produced each year covering whole year.

Do you think it will create any issue?
we have all the bank statements from 4 different banks on joint name

We have other documents too
Virgin media bills
Driving Licence
Voting card for each year

Hi everyone, just want to share my experience of SET M .I had my appointment at Birmingham on 16th January @9:30 . I chose super priority service and had already uploaded my documents online. I done my biometrics and passport check around 10:30. I got the email at 11:45 that your application has been approved for indefinite leave to remain.

I want to thank you CR001,zimba,amber and all other members of this board who always been helpful and supportive.
