I am so lost. I have booked my premiuim appointment for FLR M yesterday. 9th. And my appointment is in 10 days time. Obviously as you guys have seen it now says you can only apply online and has a new 11/2018 version of the form which is only to be used in the event of fee waiver. So my question is do i still go to my appointment in 10 days time as it is all paid for etc and do i take the previous version of the form or this new 11/2018 version which doesn't apply to me as I am not applying for my fees to be waved.
hello zonaib, I am in same boat as you. Please share any new developments on this issue. I am also lost. I booked my appointment on 7th Nov and not knowing that form will change on 9th Nov.

When is your appointment shukjag? I think it will be more clear when people start calling the call centre on Monday. I know I will be calling haha. I think appointment is still valid but just not sure about the application form.

I am also in the same situation. I had been trying for an appointment for almost a month and finally booked an appointment for FLR(M) form on 9th for 22nd November. Did not realise the form had been updated.
I talked to a solicitor and she confirmed that the old form can still be used for up to 21 days after the new form is released.
So I think I can still use the old form for my appointment.

Please keep us posted about any development in this.

Hi everyone,

I just started to look for booking for premium ILR service, however was not able to get any time at all, what I did is get to the website at 00:00 every day and look for new slots but it seems not working... Does anyone know when they refresh slots everyday? Also what is that about new form/old form people mentioned, is that about the form we received to fill once we are able to book the time slot?

Thanks!!

From What I have read the premium service centres are closing on 29th of November therefore I think currently the system isn't accepting any appointments after 29th November if someone is looking to book after that like me. I think at the moment only those appointments will show at premium service centres if someone cancels their appointment for any date before 29th November.
I think the better option is to go for the new service as its already showing an option when submitting online application. One thing which isn't very clear and what I have emailed them to enquire about is how long in advance can you make an appointment under a new service. It used to be 45 business days at premium service centres but its not very clear if its the same for new service centres. I am only becoming eligible to apply after 24th December for my ILR but I am looking to submit my application and book an appointment now if possible for after Christmas to avoid any inconvenience and delay later. Hopefully I will hear back from them soon. I read from someone's post here that you need to make an appointment within two months of submitting an application and paying for the new service but I haven't found anything clear on heir website yet on this. If someone is aware of it please advise. Thanks.

Hi nomie200031, I too am in the same position as you. My eligibility start date to apply for ILR is December 18. I have been asking this exact same question over this forum for 3 weeks now hoping for some clarification. As you say, it use to be 45 days in advance for premium service. But with the new online system I wasn’t able to find anything on how far in advance someone can start filling out the online app, and is it the date of payment which is what the home office looks at, or the date the new priority service is booked (where you get next day decision). One lovely person on this forum said it’s probably the date of the appointment..so I’m hopeful that is the case. Another helpful person posted this link:
https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/help-support/o ... ppointment

Here it says you can book an appointment 28 days (assuming calendar days) in advance.
I’m really not sure exactly when we can start looking/booking/paying for our ILR. Because of Xmas landing right in the middle of our 28 day eligibility before visa expiry, I really want to confirm something now!! Please keep me posted if you hear anything.. I’ll do the same...

Hi Allyf,
Thanks for sharing the information. Yeah I have also read about the 28 days on the official Sopra Steria website which would mean I wont be able to book an appointment before the end of November in order to make an appointment after 24th December. To clear this issue I have also made an enquiry to them on the same website. They also have a support line but the charges are £2.50 for that. I have also emailed to the front desk contact which I found in one of the forms for this query. FrontEndServicesTeam at homeoffice.gov.uk
Hopefully I will hear back from them soon. I don't want to risk paying £3018 for super priority service on UKVisas website until I am sure if I can make a booking now after 24th December. Please post for any update on this issue. I will update once I have heard back from them otherwise I will try calling on premium support line number.

Allyf regarding your other query whether its the date of payment or the date of appointment I am pretty sure its the actual date of appointment which needs to be within the qualifying period. I found this info on the official gov website which should clear the doubts over this issue. It should be the same criteria for service centres. https://www.gov.uk/ukvi-premium-service ... ligibility
Eligibility
If you’re applying for settlement, your premium service appointment must be:
at least 48 hours after your Life in the UK test
within 28 days of you completing your qualifying period

On the gov website it is still showing 45 business days but this was for premium service centres again I think it should be the same for new service centres as they are replacing them

Salam nomie

Your posts are really userful, i will be eligible for ILR lr ON 27 december, would you be able to list down the steps please e.g where to fill in online form. Please correct me if i am wrong, my understanding is that the form will be filled on the home office website, payment will be taken on their website but for appointment we will be redirected to this new service's website.
my question here is when i login to premium services, i dont see any options for using premium or new service, i just get a message there is no appointment available for next 45 centre,
Please guide here

Thanks

I guys. I called the UKVI contact centre and according to them if you have the form printed you can fill it and take it to your appointment. I did a little bit of my own research after you said about 21 days for using the old forms and it seems this is accurate information. A form can be used 21 days after a new version has come out. In a way that makes sense because this will take it to end of November and that's when the old format is meant to finish. Best of luck guys with your appointments.

Hi nomie200031, thank you so much for the link and four confirming what you think is the right way forward. I’m hoping to chat with an immigration lawyer that I touched base with 2 weeks ago, she advised to call her this week once she has a bit more info on what is going on with the new online system! I think if we book within this 28 days before, we might be ok. I’m guessing if we start booking 45 days before it might be a bit too soon? I am having major anxiety over this because I don’t want to lose 3019£ as well! I think if you’re qualifying period starts on dec 24..you should be ok to apply as of Nov 29...(which is 28 days before)...I’m going by the fact that home office service points will be open as of Dec 28 after Xmas ...bloody holidays!!

I'm currently applying for SET(M) and went through the Sopra Steria system this morning.

The issue is that unless the centres are open, they are not shown in the Appointment Booking system. I am in the South East and the only centres offered to book from were:

London Premium
Birmingham
Cambridge
Warwick

I held off from booking because we will wait for some of the other centres to open, particularly those in the centre of London, but they won't open until w/c November 26th (at least according to the PDF that gives that info). I thought those centres would be available now to book for, but they are not.

tl;dr Centres are not shown on the Sopra Steria site until they're open so currently, you can't book ahead for those.

Hi Guys,

Has anybody got any idea of the following. I have spoken to Ukvi and they are as usual pretty clueless.

How to notify HO of any change of circumstances in between the online application submission and the actual date of appointment?

Hi Allyf,

Thanks for the update. I hope even if its 28 days maximum in advance to book an appointment its 28 days from the start of qualifying period not 28 days from completion of 10 year period which will be even further for us. As neilajgaonkar has posted below that date of online submission is to be considered as date of application that means we shouldn't submit an application until the end of December in that case. I doubt that will be the case because previously the earliest we could book an appointment was 45 business days from the start of qualifying period which was again 28 days from completing the ten year period. This is more confusing now. I think the new visa centres should be back to service from 27th December hopefully.

Hi neilagaonar,

Thanks for the update. Does you lawyer mean that we shouldn't submit an application and pay the fees until we reach the qualifying period of 28 days before completing the 10 year period. It used to be the rule that the appointment could be anytime after the qualifying period but to book an appointment it could be done 45 business days before the qualifying period of 10 years. Please can you elaborate or clarify from your lawyer further about this if possible. Thanks again.

Just got a reply from my lawyer and has confirmed 'The date of online form submission will be considered as date of application by the Home Office''. So please adjust according to 28 day period. As usual please confirm with you immigration adviser/lawyer before proceeding. Good luck!

Thanks again.

hi Nomie, could you please list the website used to fill online form and to pay 3018.
I am using the premium service wesbite, although my ILR is due on 27 december. Please suggest

Hi Dilse,

Sorry I think my earlier post disappeared. THe link to submit the application and pay the online fees is https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-booking

PLease make sure you confirm everything before paying as I haven't paid myself just to make sure about everything including appointment.
Strange thing is, i am using the same link which you sent, but i am getting fee as 2999, i am on initial stage yet where i keep on getting a message, no appointments for next 45 days, i am wondering how will i proceed to filling up the application form?

You cannot use the old premium service system to book appointment sun December. The old system and centres are closing on 29th November.

You must use the new system and online forms.

Please see attached image of what i can see, i cant see any option for new services, moreover it asks for download and print option at the end which is confusing. Please let me know how to proceed. and yes i wont submit the application. I am just checking for now
CR001, thanks for info about closing of premium service, all i want to understand is where to fill in online form and pay fee, so then i can book appointment with new service centre.

I guess you have created your online account before Nov, If that is the case then create a new account and you will find the notorious online application form there.
