When did you marry the EEA citizen? When did you return to the UK as the family member of an EEA citizen?

You can apply for Settled Status 5 years after your date of arrival in the UK as the family member of a EU citizen.

Assuming that:
-You moved to the UK in June 2015
-You already were the family member of an EU citizen when you moved to the UK (e.g. already married when arriving here)
-You and your EU family member have been continuous residents in the UK since you moved here (no periods out of the UK of more than 6 months in any 12 month pèriod)

Then you can apply for Settled Status on June 2020.

But if, for example, only your EU family member moved to the UK in 2015, and you joined them in June 2018, then you can only apply in June 2023.

Hi

What kind of family member are you (what is your relationship to the EEA sponsor)? Did you apply under EEA FM (Family Member) or EEA EFM (Extended Family Member)?
