Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Went to Croydon today to apply for my Tier 2 leave to remain, switching from Tier 4 student visa. Process took almost 20 mins. Still haven't heard from HO or received any email. Quite anxious. Anyone else in similar boat? I am. I've applied on Monday 21st October at 11am with Super Priority service...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

Hi - may I please ask how HO were able to drag your application from Nov to Dec 2017 despite being above the points cut off? I got rejected in March with 45 points so going through my partner instead who will be applying for restricted CoS in May. We’re fairly confident as he’ll have 75 points (pen...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

May I know how did your employer appeal? I got to know that appeal process or administrative review is not possible for RCoS, it's only for visa applications. I have a similar situation where in I missed opportunity in October and November due to HO's mistake. We have been highlighting this by writ...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

It seems £50,000 - £54,999 band has gone through. Hopefully £45,000-49,999 band should go through so that others will see great chances in May. Come on guys don't loose hope. April anyways realistically was impossible because of the backlogs and shortage etc. see it as a positive news and pray for ...

Rejected , is there a difference?
Could you check with your employer what was mentioned in the email, please? This would give us a picture for this month.

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

Rejected 45 points Can you please confirm if its rejected or refused ? Rejected , is there a difference? Cut off is not 45. Rejected refers to being some problem with your application. I would say if you can ask your employer the reason behind getting rejected. Yeah I also doubt it’s a cut off as i...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

I'm applying for the second time, with 31 points. One thing that makes me check the RCOS threads only so often is the level of know-it-allness and negativity about this. NOBODY knows the precise cut-off until the HO releases it. Even immigration lawyers can only guess. Also for people clogging up t...

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

Basically just took the average number of applications approved during April-Nov as the number generally gone through. Then used that number for the months Dec-Mar, subtracted the amount of visas given out in that time which left around 2100 that wouldn’t have got through in the previous months, ad...

Hi, Does anyone know what the Minimum score for March 2018 was? I've seen some people get rejected on 55 (non-skilled). Is it safe to assume that it was 60? Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

From my understanding, we should ideally be hearing something this week regarding the rule changes to the quota limit or any changes to the current system for the new allocation year (Apr 2018 - Mar 2019).

Please do share any info that you get. They might publish the stats online today.

I thought the offer letter comes after you have secured the rCOS as well as the visa. How can you sign an offer letter before even securing the certificate?

How is possible to make 46points? Anyone can explain to me? Thanks :)
Applying via Milkround awards you with 30 points and a salary of 36k is 16 points, hence 46.

4. Many Tier 2 sponsors will have been caught by surprise that the Tier 2 (General) Restricted COS monthly quota has been oversubscribed since December 2017. Re: February 2018 Restricted COS

They don’t have any more information than we do - we just figured that given it’s highly unlikely I’ll get approved in March we’re probably just wasting our time when we could be re-doing RLMT so it’s valid during the months I may have a chance in. If they manage to find a British/EU candidate from...

33 points and yep second refusal. I won’t be re-applying for March though. I thought my RLMT expired end of this month but it’s actually the end of March but my manager, HR and myself discussed the issue and we thought it would be better to just re-do RLMT now as obviously my chances of getting COS...
