Re: Child's ILR for parents already on settlement

Are you saying it does not matter which one we use? We both have ILR but the kids are still on the skill worker dependent visa. Does it not matter which one we use?

Re: Child's ILR for parents already on settlement

Thank you for your help so far. Please if you do not mind elaborating a little bit, because there are people saying that the kids should have applied for ILR at the same time as their parents, and since they didn't do that, that their dependent visa became Invalid the minute their parents got ILR ...

Re: Old passports not scanned

I really hope so @Bab temi. But I was not expecting them to take the old passport. I was expecting them to scan the photo page and all the visas in them and send them with my application to UKVI but they refused. So there is nothing with UKVI to show my previous travel history. Was that the same in ...

Re: Evidence that previous relationship has broken down

I got the partner visa in May 2012, to expire May 2014. Then I got a work visa in October 2012. Married in Sept 2013. So I have been on work visa since October 2012 till now.

Re: Evidence that previous relationship has broken down

Yeah thanks. Just worried because I saw an old thread here where a guy who lives in the UK on ILR that he got through an unmarried partner visa, is now applying for the wife to come over to the UK on spouse visa, and it was denied because he didn't provide evidence that all previous relationship has ...

Re: Evidence that previous relationship has broken down

I'm applying for UK tier 2 dependent visa. My wife has a job offer in the UK. My present status in the country I'm living in now is work permit. But I also have the unmarried partner visa in my passport. Though I am not on the unmarried passport visa presently.

Hello everyone. It will be nice to get your perspective. I'm applying as a tier 2 dependent from outside the UK. I am married to my wife who has the job offer. My question is, in general, are married couples required to show evidence that past relationships have broken down. And more specifically to ...

Re: My passport expiry date entered wrongly on my COS

I told them my employer and they just added a sponsor note correcting the passport expiry date. Im hoping they know the rules and don't think that it is a significant error.

Re: Unmarried partner visa on my old expired passport

@cyclina1 Thanks for the reply. Im just worried that they would say that I did that to stay in South Africa when my study visa expired and that I might repeat the same or similar thing in the UK when my wife's tier 2 expires. That it shows that I don't intend leaving the UK. I hope alot more people ...
