Thank you both for your replies. I have seen that part of page 23. Presumably all "managing agents" have to also be qualified/registered accountants if they are going to submit letters/summaries in support of an application, though it isnt absolutely clear. You see, when I sent my managing agent an ...

I have a managing agent who tells me how much to pay myself each week, and who deals with my tax returns. I have read the policy ...

Perhaps a servant would qualify as some sort of strange sub-species of dependent? :D

Tier 1 approved from NZ

Hi all, My Tier 1 (general) visa and my girlfriend's Tier 1 (unmarried dependent partner) visa were approved. It took the New Zealand British High Commission in Wellington exactly five weeks, from 8 October 2008 to 12 November 2008 to process both applications. We leave for London next week so I ...

1. Do we still need a letter from the bank if we have original bank statements? No. 2. Do we need a letter from the bank if we have online bank statements? and if we do what should it say? Yes. Read the guidance notes on your local BHC website. It should state: - the date - your name - your account ...

Correct, you send your documents to the BHC after you have been to your biometrics appointment. You print your biometrics appointment form and take it to your biometrics appointment. They stamp it when you attend your appointment to show that you have completed the biometrics stage. You then enclose ...

To answer your question, I paid for my ...

This issue has been raised before by another person who was also an employee of a bank. The answer is that they shouldnt consider them all as being from the same source; your wage slips and letter are issued by the bank as your employer (by its administration department), whereas your statements are ...

It isnt clear to me how it could be detrimental for anybody. If anything, the applicants who thought they had to maintain an amount of maintenance funds calculated at the current exchange rate now learn that they kept slightly more maintenance funds than they needed to.

He is asking about the exchange rate to use for his maintenance funds, not his previous earnings, so your answer is not necessarily correct.

For your maintenance funds, you must use the exchange rate provided by Oanda.com at the last date shown on the bank statements used to prove your funds.
