BUT if the law comes into place say in June after a YES vote, do you think it will apply for people already taking the EEA route at present (ie on their EEA2s, awaiting EEA4s)? Shouldnt this law be applied to people entering the UK after implementing the law? So for example newcomers on a family eea...

What do you mean by settled? For instance we have been in the uk for 8 years and on our second eea2 because the first eea4 was refused due to lack of evidence of self employment. They surely just cant turn around and say goodbye 2 years before we can apply for another eea4. People have settled in th...

Will this apply to people already in the uk? From my knowledge you cant backdate a law?
We have been here for 8 yrs (noneu&eu spouse) on our second eea2 how can they just refuse us??

Ukba says you need to employed under a contract of employment. But am not sure where the Zero Hours Contract

am more concerned about the nature of employment. Its not a permanent post, its rather more like a zero hour contract.

Bank by the way is like a zero hours contract. However the place she is going to are guaranteeing her the hours. She will be paid every week with payslips

Working in bank in NHS counts?

Hello
My eea spouse works at 25 hrs permanent at the moment but she wants to change her field.
What is the stand on "bank" shifts in the NHS. If she can do over 25 hrs a week fullfilling the minimum threshold wage but not having a permanent contract will that count towards her being employed? Thanks.

That the only way we could have funds. I work (noneea) and shared bank account she benefits from the funds. We got our 2nd eea1/2 on this basis.

I see. We havent got any kind of benefits, not a burden to society, a shared bank account and in turn my wife has got access to more than sifficient funds to live in the UK.

In the uk since 2007. First PR refused as self employed as not enough evidence, we got a CSI from AXA, sent eea1&2 again and got it. I take on board what you said but being burnt once woth the self employment deemed ineffective because there was no earning of 70£/week we just wanna make sure we are doing the right thing here.
