Probably 2009, but as "probationary citizenship" is simply an immigration status rather than a form of citizenship, it would be highly irresponsible for the Government to persist with using this term. Why? Because if they use the word "citizenship" then they are going to have problems returning dep...

Re: Urgent Accomodation Cancelled

Hi I had applied for EC for New Delhi on 28rth Feb I had showed as proof of accomodation a reservation made through venere.com in a hotel in london. Yesterday I got a mail from venere.com that the reservation has been cancelled because of incorrect credit card details. I am very sure I entered the ...

I bet you the actual decision to grant the work permit takes no more than 5 minutes to make. Your application more than likely sits in someone's "Inbox" for 5 months until eventually they get so sick and tired of looking at it, they finally get round to processing it. Yep, i can attest to that. Hav...

Thanks for your reply. The IELTS is the test of English Language. If the dependent spouse has to sit for the Life in the UK test it obviously means that the test of English would have to be given as well. This is unecessary time and expense for both partners having to give these exams, it should be...

To be fair to me, I think I said I would think of myself as a passport-pimp if I had multiple citizenships, although I phrased it quite badly. Blame the San Miguel..! Apologies anyway if I offended! I still feel the same tho, having another citizenship is like having another woman, nice and useful ...

it isn't ignorance, they don't care. second, you don't have to wait for 12 payslips to apply. If you have made the requisite income already and have enough points to be approved, then apply tomorrow, then you dont have to leave the country whining like a crybaby about the ozone and the HO being igno...
