The company is having it easy. Daylight robbery is all I can say. He just does the job of sending your CV and mind you he is going to use the same CWJOBS and Jobserve to do this. He pockets a cool 20%. Don't be under the impression that you have bagged a secure job unless and until he is going to pa...

HO doesn't accept photocopies even if it is attested by the highest authority in your country. Try to get a duplicate original from your university. As for age proof, notarised copies of your passport are accepted only if you are able to prove that you are not able to produce either the BC or DL. Re...

They usually ask for SC (also called DV) if the client is a govt organisation like MoD, Police, GCHQ etc. (sensitive/confidential projects). Were the clients that you gave interviews for falling into these categories ? These are usually reserved for only British citizens. That could be a reason for ...

28 days starts from the day your employer informs the HO that you've left the company. Otherwise you can stay until your leave expires. so for example if your notice period is 2 months and it starts today, you can stay in UK until you serve the complete notice period which is well within May 20 dead...

Another option you can look at is: 1> Apply for an early FLR for both you and wife, in say May-June time before she travels to India. You'll have to explain your case to the HO in the covering letter. If you are granted FLR (which I m sure you will) then you need to only apply for EC for your infant...

Hari, They drop a "Sorry you were out" card. There will be a phone number to call on the back of the card. Call this number and tell them that you will pick up the letter in person. You can then go pick it up from the delivery office. You have to take this card along with a proof of identity and add...

That's the sad part about the recruitment process here in UK. You have an impressive CV. You go through several rounds of interview and all would have gone extremely well and after a month they say "You didn't make it", we gave the offer to another successful candidate.... Best of luck for your i'vi...

I believe Shakirpa has a HSMP so it's not like Allied is filing for his WP that there is a risk of them losing money if Shakirpa doesn't join.

My hunch is it's not genuine......

I m sure the service charge won't be 400 Pounds. If you send the bank passbook as evidence, your application will be surely refused and you will lose that amount.

Only original bank statements will be accepted.

Yes there will be cases where the client receives the same CV from more than one agency. In such a case prefer one and tell the other guy to back your CV out. As Ashish mentioned, never give reference out until it's the final interview stage. If they ask "How many places have you applied ?", say thi...

I should say usually companies are not keen to interview candidates when they are abroad, unless you are a hotshot and you're skills are in very high demand here. In fact even within the UK, they prefer to interview the candidates face to face and ask you to come down.

I don't know how the market is for Windows/Citrix but seeing that you've applied for over a 100 jobs, I assume it's good. Lot of factors are involved in your resume being shortlisted for an interview. You should also remember that it's not the recruitment agencies who decide if you are apt to be cal...

Thanks a lot Chandra for your wishes and congratulations on your approval as well.

Yes they only send you saying it's approved and the points awarded is not mentioned in the letter. This is normal.

Thanks Ashok and best of luck to you.

Touch, I see you've missed out Viper in your applicant's list
