Thanks a lot, vinny

The thing is, I thought I had the right as I was given 5 years in one category and then 6 months as leave to enter. Or it counts as outside immigration rules?

Hi,

they sent all your documents back only because you didn't send your passport. It's clearly stated on HO website that in case there is lack of any document they send everything back straight away. I bet they even didn't read you explanation letter. So that's the thing!!

Hi, I have never heard from HO! So if you need to travel do that first, then inform them. Still there is a chance of them asking you to send them all the originals. They told me on the phone to wait till my visa expires. That's all I know. But I understand you. Travel is pretty unpleasant coz at the...

I received exactly the same letter from them, and that was it. They never got back to me. I infomed them of my divorce by a letter, so I presume, they want me to apply when my RC expires, maybe in you case they will do the same.

Just wanted to share my experience.

Hi, Jude

I will have to go through the process anyway either now or at the end of my RC.

Do you mind me asking where you sent proof of your ex's excercising treaty rights to Durham or Liverpool? Please, let me know. That would make the picture clearer.

Thanks, I appreciate you advice...But I am not an EEA family member anymore. Even if I retain my rights. I already called HO, and they told me I need a COA. even if they don't know at the registry office and my mariage happens without COA, later in the eyes of HO it could be viewed as an illegal mar...

Hi, It doesn't matter in that case for how long you have been married, you need to proove that your wife was working in the UK for a continuous period of five years, i.e. in your case you can apply when your currnet visa expires, as it was granted for 5 years. You can't apply earlier than that unfor...

I think that's not gonna work, you would need at least your ex's bank statements for that particular period of time with enough money to show he was financially independant. Plus thay always ask for private medical insurance. No point to apply, they will reject.
