Re: Personal Vacation / Paid Leave / NOT work-related - Do I need an a letter from previous employer for this?

As I understand, it means any paid annual leave you would have taken during your employment. It's a confirmation from employer that you were still employed with them during your travel outside UK.

Re: Tier 2 to ILR - Application Date

There still is a small gap. As per your visa dates, the earliest you can submit the ILR application online is 01st July 2019. Submission date is the date when you pay for the application. Appointment date is irrelevant for calculation purposes. There is still a 3 day gap. CR001 or Mods can confirm i...

Re: Guidance for Tier 2 ICT Visa

If your job location will continue to be UAE during your UK visit, it means you are not transferred to UK office. As I mentioned earlier, you need to be transferred to UK office and paid in GBP if you are supposed to be working here in UK. And to apply for ICT, you need to be working for the company...

Re: Guidance for Tier 2 ICT Visa

Tier 2 ICT (Intra company transfer) visa is applied when a company wants to transfer you to their UK based office. They need to pay you UK salary and you need to pay tax here in UK. You need to be working for the company for 12 months before they can apply for a T2 ICT visa. As I understand from wha...

Re: Query on ILR Set(O) application form

Another question - My spouse who is on dependent visa is in full time employment. Do I need to submit her P60 / Salary slip / bank statement as well? I plan to submit mine anyways as part of the application.

Thanks.

Re: What is the earliest?

Hi CR001, sorry to ask this question on this thread - For the OP, you are suggesting that we can apply visa 28 before her spouse's entry date to UK whereas in some other forums its 28 days before the visa approval date. Is it because the OP's spouse would be on a dependent visa? just for my clarity....

But that will not cover the period which I spent on work permit outside my home country (as mentioned in my previous query). Hope that's fine?

Thanks!

One more question - while scanning the passports (current and old ones), do we need to scan blank pages as well?

Re: Query on ILR Set(O) application form

Folks, I have one more question. While filling the form, it asks to list down the countries & duration that I have lived before coming to UK. Apart from my home country, I have worked in couple of more countries for few years. In between those, I was back to India (my home country). Do I need to bre...

Query on ILR Set(O) application form

Hi, I have a query on the online application form for Set (O). The form asks about any caution, warning, reprimand or other penalty that we may have received. I received couple of parking fines (PCNs) few years back. Do we need to include the parking fines under this section? Do note that I had incl...

ILR English test - which one?

Hi Folks, I'm a bit confused on which test should one take to satisfy the English language requirement for ILR application. In many of the topics, people referred the B1 pass certificate but could not find the exact test name. Is "IELTS Life Skills B1" from IELTS the right option OR "B1 SELT – GESE ...

As long as you submit all the necessary documents, they should get the visa.

The COS is required in dependent's application for home office to confirm the main applicant's details. You are not using the COS for main application. The expiry of COS if for the main application. It should be fine.

Re: TIER 2 COS Expiry Date definition

A COS has to be used in an online application within 3 months from the date its assigned. If you see the COS details, the expiry date will be 3 months after the Assigned date. If you don't use it, it will expire and the sponsor has to issue a new COS.

Re: Switching Tier 2 ICT to dependant Tier 2 general visa travel question

So, it looks like that the application is already in process. If his dependent application is not decided by the time he's re-entering UK, it's fine. However, if its decided and is successful, his old visa would have been cancelled and he will not be allowed on his old BRP. You need to decide if it'...

Assuming that your visa application is for more than 6 months, once your application is approved, you will normally get a visa for 30 days within which you should enter UK. Once you are in UK, you will have to collect your BRP card from the post office which you would have provided in your online ap...

You are legally not allowed to work before the start date mentioned in the visa. You can either get it corrected or start from 17th Sept.
