Re: Will an email or phone call provide information?

Calling or emailing doesn’t make any sense. The most popular answer is that application is awaiting for the decision. It doesn’t mean anything.

Call center/ email provider has no connection/influence with HO. The best is just to wait. But if you cannot wait write them, it will influence anything

Re: Spouse visa complications

Jockey35, There is no negative attitude against you here from other forum members. What they were trying to say is that you shouldn’t do deception over deception. You should really seek legal advice in your situation. The visa application is very expensive so you should be ready for any outcome, and...

Re: Getting my Russian Fiancée a Spouse Visa

I was just about to book the wedding when a friend advised that getting married abroad might cause problems with her visa application, he didn’t elaborate on this but it got me thinking. Is there any reason getting married in a different country to our countries of residence would cause any issues?...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected, what are next steps

Marsianna22, The behaviour of HO is disgusting, but if you want to reunite with your husband quickly, it is better to check all your documents once again and reapply. All the complaints and court procedures take a long time. You will not be able to go and visit your husband during 1-2 years. I was i...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected, Stupid reason, Appeal vs Reapply?

Marsianna22,

It seems for the HO it is a common money making process :(

Still I would recommend you to reapply, if you want to reunite with your husband soon... :((

It seems they started sending this email later on in the application process, probably when they opened the file.

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected, Stupid reason, Appeal vs Reapply?

Fighter130, as per the legislation, I sent you the link before, ECO was to inform tribunal that they took a decision on your case. I don’t think they can curtail your visa. We didn’t appeal, but we continue fighting through MP... I am in doubts if we should continue fighting or just swallow it becau...

Re: Spouse settlement visa refused today – Need some advice on next steps

NL2UK, I am very sorry about your rejection. Unfortunately appeals take around 1-1,5 years, so not worth it. If you want to move as a spouse, better reapply. I think (maybe it’s not correct), if you will be granted ICT visa, the appeal will be closed, because you will be granted leave to enter under...

Re: Spouse Visa Rejected, Stupid reason, Appeal vs Reapply?

Pradis12, Was academic ielts , ielts for UKVI or just academic ielts? Because if you have ielts for UKVI it should be fine. You probably didn’t include ielts for UKVI number in your application. I had the same issue in January, we decided not to appeal and just reapplied. It took 32 business days an...

Re: Fiance visa refusal

Seagul, thank you so much. It is a great relief. No, I didn’t pass another test. As I wrote in my previous posts (this information was after the visa application, so I actually took the risk) HO informed MP that it wasn’t the problem with the test I submitted but the problem that I didn’t state IELT...

Re: Fiance visa refusal

I wanted to give an update to my story. I reapplied for a spouse visa second time, and received my passport back today with visa granted. It took 32 days (priority) for the second application.

I wish everyone good luck and receive their decisions soon.

Re: Fiance Visa - Sending Supplementary Documents to Sheffield

By sending additional documents you are risking:
1) eco can take into account only new documents
2) they will not attach additional documents at all.

If I were you, I would not send additional documents unless they are absolutely critical. I would wait for their further communication.

Re: When is the best time to apply spouse visa

No, I don’t think it’s ok. In the financial guidance to Appendix fm, it is written that a letter from employer should confirm:
The length of the person’s employment
The gross annual salary and the period over which it has been paid at this level

I think you are overreacting, if the rest of the documents ok, it shouldn’t influence your application in my point of view

Re: When is the best time to apply spouse visa

Check if you have all necessary documents first and only then submit the application (payslips, letter from the company, bank statements etc.)

To fill in the application online is not difficult, just make sure you have everything first.
