expediting appeal case/compelling or compassionate grounds

Post by asif_sharif » Tue Jan 05, 2016 12:32 pm

someone help me please

does the home office have a definition of they what "think" are compelling or compassionate grounds ?

since i am still waiting for a court date my wife has lost her dad and both her grandparents surely this will come under compassionate grounds. i can provide them with death certificates if they want. Is there any point in me trying to get my case expedited on these grounds ?

That indeed amount to compassionate reason to seek an expedition.

Obie, would the compassionate ground come into play if the applicant is in Pakistan where the family members have passed away? i.e. expedite appeal on compassionate grounds due to death of family members in same country as spouse in order for said spouse to get visa and come to UK.

It can be argued that the loss has affected the appellant a lot, and it will amount to compassionate reason, if she reasonably wants to be with her husband for comfort during this extremely distressing episode for the family.
